ANATOMY

Following the establishment of Yenepoya Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, in 2018, the Department of Anatomy started functioning from the academic year 2018–19.

The Department of Anatomy at YHMCH is fully equipped to impart high quality medical education by implementing Competency Based Dynamic Curriculum (CBDC).The department is actively involved in training the undergraduate students during their early years of medicine and aids to establish a strong foundation

Department boasts of having a well-illuminated and spacious Dissection Hall with cadavers for dissection, Histology Laboratory for microscopic study of various organs and an Anatomy Museum which includes specimens of all regions and Models, Charts as teaching material.

The department is constantly involved in exploring and implementing newer teaching-learning pedagogies that enhances the process of learning, which even includes Simulation based learning at Advanced Comprehensive Clinical training & Simulation Centre (ACTS YEN).
