GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS

The department has 2 fulltime teaching staff with good teaching and clinical knowledge. The department is well equipped with sufficient charts, instruments, models, and mannequins which help the students to practice their skills of examining the gynaecological patients and conducting the deliveries. The students are given hands on training in cultivating strong patient doctor relationship by regular clinical postings and special medical camps. The students are given hands on training for decision making in the management of the OBG patients. The college is associated with department of AYUSH of Dakshina Kannada district, Karnataka and the staff of OBG department are actively involved in the consultation and treatment for the need of fertility for the people in and surrounding the district place.
